Godobori Vol.1 is Biko MC's Shona translation and Hiphop adaptation of the first 7 chapters of Khalil Gibran's book, "The Prophet". In this volume of work Biko MC showcases his unparalleled mastery of Shona poetics and this is superbly matched by Kado Beats' instrumental selection, mixing and mastering.

This project was recorded in Kado Beats' studio (Halle, Germany) over two weekends. The collaboration between the two (poet and musician), defies cultural and geographical boundaries creating a supra-national sublime where words, melodies and rhythms forge identities whose experiences are beyond description.
